I'm not always the best at talking about myself, and now I'm finding writing about myself even harder. But as Nurah.Co hopefully finds a place in your lives, I feel it's important to share the heart behind this dream.

Nurah.Co was born out of a personal journey of balancing family life with my desire to build something meaningful. As my family grew, I found myself stepping away from the corporate world to focus on what mattered most — my daughters. They were growing fast, and I knew that these precious years, when they needed me the most, would not last forever.

Then, Ramadan came — a time for reflection and prayer. I turned to Allah, asking for guidance and clarity about my next steps. With more time to devote to reading Quran, doing Dhikr, and connecting deeply with my faith, an idea blossomed. What if I could make a small, yet significant, change in our daily lives? A change that would help us remember Allah more easily throughout our day.

Thus, Nurah was born. The name "Nurah"  is an anadrome, combining my own surname, Nur, and my husband’s surname, Harun — a predestined coincidence maybe? Nurah, also very aptly, in Arabic means the "giver of light", and I hope through the products we create with Nurah we're able to bring enlightenment and enrichment to your life.

At its core, Nurah was conceived as a way to simplify one important element of our day — our daily adhkar (remembrance of Allah). But as I began to build the brand, talk to family and friends, and reflect on my own needs, I realized the potential to do so much more. I now had the opportunity to create a brand that brought Islamic values into everyday life in a tangible, meaningful way.

Our Vision at Nurah is to create an Islamic Lifestyle and Stationery brand that blends faith with everyday practicality. From simple reminders of Allah with our products to tools that help streamline your daily routine, we aim to bring more ease, beauty, and spirituality into your life.
